Strong Design

The Extang Tuff Tonno tonneau cover is made of a durable, UV resistant vinyl. Because of the quality materials used, it has the ability to last through the toughest environments. The cover is additionally reinforced with parachute grade nylon to help prevent buckling and a strong J-45 seal for maximum protection.

Access

The Tuff Tonno was constructed to give you easy bed access. Whenever you need to gain bed access, simply release the LeverLocks and rotate the rail towards the cab. From there you will be able to use as much of the bed space as you need.

Weather Protection

The Extang Tuff Tonno features a durable J-45 "peel and seal" system that helps keep the elements out of your truck bed. The spring loaded bows prevent the cover from sagging, giving the cover an aerodynamic fit which also helps keep your cargo safe and dry.

Installation

No drilling is required when installing the Extang Tuff Tonno. Simply un-roll the cover and clamp the tonneau down to the bed rails. The TuffKlamps have maximum grip to ensure that the cover always stays center and looks great.

Warranty

When you purchase the Extang Tuff Tonno Tonneau Cover, you will receive a 10 year warranty on the tarp and a lifetime warranty on the aluminum frame.

Here's my experience so far after 4 mo of use. The tuff tonno is very good quality and a good value. It was easy to install, about 45 min. I like the spring latches at the tailgate and J seal which make it easy to remove. Spring loaded cross-bars are great too. Only issue I have is the tonno cannot be removed from the frame after rololing it up. It is basically on the vehicle until the frame is removed. In the summer I like to take off the tonno and use an open bed for long periods of time. The rolled tonno cover may become damaged or the sides could become permanantly deformed which will reduce the peel-n-seal properties from the factory. Overall I am completely satisfied with the purchase.

The cover is fine but, there was a slight misrepresentation. The front rib clips (nearest the cab) are too short to fit where they are supposed to, as indicated, on the side rails. The truck-bed side walls are curved just enough where the clips aren't long enough to latch on to the bottom side of the top of the bed walls. I had to move the clips back about 6 inches from where the are supposed to fit. That was disappointing. The other issue I have it the seal is not water tight. There are gaps on the front corners where there is about 1/8 inch gap where water can and HAS entered. The issues is that the weather strip on the front rail and the side rails are too tall versus the foam on the corner pieces. I'm not sure if the clips that are supposed to be closer to the cab are to compress the weather strippingon the side rails more but, the corners have a gap. Aside from that, the materials are impressive and appears to be a sturdy design.

The tonneau is great as I have come to expect with Extang products over the years. Definitely a great value for the price.

" I like everything about the new Extang Tuff Tonno except it’s very hard to unlock for one person. For me it takes two people, one on each side. Other than that, I’m pleased."

I bought my Titan used and it had an Extang Tuff Tonno already on it (plus I have the factory utilitrac). Drove it for almost a year and the stitching came loose in the back corner causing it to flap in the wind and tear a little. I called Extang and with their factory 10 year warranty, they replaced it for free!!!! Couldn't be happier. Review provided by titantalk

I also have the Tuff Tonno from Extang. I love it! It's cheap, fits beds with or w/o the utilitrac system and is a soft cover with no snaps. Did I mention it was cheap? Review provided by titantalk
