Durable

The Roll-X gets it rigidity from 1/4" thick aluminum slats spanning across the bed. They can hold up to 400 lbs of evenly distributed weight and are very light and durable. Aluminum won't rust or corrode so the cover will last. The top of the cover is laminated with vinyl material to provide a sleek look a tight water seal.

Easy Installation

With just basic tools the Bak Roll-X can be installed by one person. No drilling is required and the included rails with even work with your existing cargo management system. Alternate brackets are substituted depending on which vehicle you have with cargo management.

Secure

Slam latches lock into position at the tailgate when the cover is closed. With a locking tailgate you get complete security since the cover can not open without accessing the truck bed. The rails latch the cover down with a very unique locking mechanism.

1 Year Warranty

Bak covers the Roll-X tonneau cover with a 1 year warranty. This cover is built with quality materials and workmanship and Bak is confident in their products. If there are any issues with fitment and general question please give us a call.

"This is an extremely well engineered, easy to use cover that never takes up bed space because everything stays on top of the bed. It looks awesome with it's ultra low profile one piece design."

"I really can't think of any draw backs to this cover. It was very well thought out."

"Even though the rails, seals and profile are similar to Bakflip covers, the Roll-X does not require drain tubes."

I have the BakFlip G2 HD version. I was hesitant because of the negative reviews I'd read. But the bottom line is that I think it is the best looking hard cover available so I took a chance and bought it. I like how it fits completely flush with the bed, I don't like the look of raised covers or tonneaus. I've had it for about 6 months and have been pleased with it so far. The finish on the cover could be better...for nearly $800 I am very demanding. The seals are holding up fine, but I also don't fold the cover on a daily basis, more like once every 2-3 weeks. I could see possibly needing to replace some of the rubber seals every couple of years. That seems to be one of the biggest complaints with the Bakflip. I also think the way the factory tie down rails has to be relocated could have been designed better, but it does the job. I have also driven through several major thunderstorms and very little water gets in the bed. What little does come in seems to be from the tailgate area. So overall I would say I am pleased with my purchase. Review provided by TundraTalk

I've had the F1 for about 2 months. I don't really have any complaints. It's not 100% waterproof but I think most of the water is coming in at the tailgate where the rails stop. I'd guess I get less water in when water in the rails can drain to the front drain tubes. The only QC problem I found was that a couple screws along the back edge had backed out. no biggie. I highly recommend the tailgate lock mod. This is a great combo with the Bakflip since its all locked up whenever you lock your truck. Review provided by TundraTalk

I got my BakFlip HD last Friday and installed it in 35 minutes. The only tricky thing was to remove the plastic covers for the drain holes in the bed, when the bed liner is already in place. I did not have to worry about any notching to to the Bed liner to make the cover rail fit. I have to say it looks pretty nice and I put it to good use as I went on Saturday to pick up 5 family members with 9 luggages I could not fit them all under the cover, so being able to flip it all open was nice. It was nice that it wasn't raining either. I give the cover 2 thumps up. I am happy with it. I re-fuled the tank and reset the trip computer to see it it really does save 13% more fuel cutting down on the drag. Review provided by f150forum

I have a roll-x tonneau on my 2011 FX4 with 6.5ft bed and it is awesome. I find it rolls forward when I stop and touches the back window so I need a small wedge to fix that issue. Even having to find a cure for the window marring I would buy it again. Review provided by f150forum.com
