BakFlip HD Tonneau Cover

If you're looking for a heavy duty tonneau cover and give you instant bed access, then you've come across the perfect product. The BakFlip HD is constructed out of the strongest materials to guarantee that it can hold up to anything thrown its way.

  • UV Protected Finish
  • Low Profile Appearance
  • Black Powder Coat Finish
  • Integrated Drainage System
  • Provides Instant Bed Access

Strength

With a 400 lb payload capacity, the BakFlip HD holds 100 lbs more than the BakFlip G2 thanks to its thicker aluminum panels. You can load equipment on top of the cover if the bed is full. Can't do that with a soft tonneau cover.

Patented Water Drainage

Water tight hinges and insulated panels render the BakFlip HD tonneau cover superior in all weather conditions. Even if water manages to get through the hinges, the rails act as a channel for which to guide the water toward the front of the bed and out of the drainage tubes to the ground.

Easy Installation

No-Drill installation makes the BakFlip HD a quick 45 minute install. The rails come pre-assembled and pre-drilled. Six to eight clamps (depending on bed length) are provided to mount the rails to the bed. Once the rails are installed, its as simple as lining up the cover and tightening the included fastening knobs.

100% Truck Bed Access

Full truck bed access sets BakFlip apart from the rest of the hard or folding tonneau covers available. The cover folds all the way up against the truck cab leaving you with all the room you need to carry a full load.

Durable

The HD's panels are made of aircraft grade aluminum at 5/8" thickness , black powder coat baked on for a rugged and durable finish. The hinges are made of EPDM rubber which is guaranteed for 1 million folds without failure.

Low Profile

The cover sits flush with the bed rails making the HD a No-Profile cover, meaning its invisible when viewing the truck from the side. This allows your truck to keep that sleek, OEM look. There's nothing bulky about this cover

Security

With a locking tailgate, there is no easy way to get into your truck bed without the key. The combination of hidden hinges when the cover is closed and the aircraft grade aluminum panels, it will take an army to break into your truck bed.

2 Year Warranty

The BakFlip HD tonneau cover comes with a 2 year limited warranty that covers damage caused by the factory. If the product was damaged during shipment, a damage report should be issued.

Ordered through your site on line, just a short time later the Bakflip HD arrived at my door. After reading the installation instructions, my wife and I were able to install on our pickup in minimum time without any trouble. Completely hassle free. We toured the South Eastern states in June, going through two major rain storms, and experienced no leakage into the cargo area. Everything high and dry. And although I told him not to, my fully grown grandson used the closed cover for a seat while resting his feet on the tailgate, and this did not harm the Bakflip in any way. So far, the cover opens and closes as advertised without any trouble. And, with a lockable tailgate, it provides a great storage space while at the mall or just while traveling. If I had need to, I would gladly purchase another.

my Bak HD is 3 years old and doesn't leak a drop. Did you install weatherstripping along the front bed rail? Because there is a gap there since the front bed rail (immediately behind the rear window) sits slightly lower than the factory side bed rails. Review provided by f150forum

I've had my Bakflip HD on the truck for about 18 months and no leaks. Only ever gets water inside when I hit the top of the cover with the garden hose on full, even then its only a bit wet rear corners by the tailgate. I think the rails get overfilled with water. During normal rain and weather, stays dry. Review provided by f150forum

I just ordered the Bak-Flip HD (all metal version) the other day. Locking, folding cover. I think it will be the best cover to fit my needs. Review provided by Tundrasolutions

Love the cover. Love the fact that it folds up against the back glass, so you still have use of the bed when needed. Very easy installation, did it myself in less than a half hour. I also have the BakBox, which works great with the cover. Only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because it leaks a little around the edges. Honestly doesn't bother me, but would be nice if it was water tight. Highly recommend the cover to anyone. Review provided by SilveradoSierra

Love my HD Bakflip. Low-pro and almost perfectly waterproof except through the tailgate step. Review provided by f150forum
