The Steelcraft Black Nerf Bars are constructed of 3" round steel tubing. The tubing is carbon steel to provide a harder and stronger step over the competitors and is more affordable.
Getting into your truck is now made easy since the Steelcraft 3" Black Nerf Bars sport polyethylene step pads that won't fade or crack in the sun. Depending on your vehicle, each bar will have one or two step pads for your regular cab or crew cab.
The SteelCraft 3" black nerf bars feature custom brackets that are designed for your specific vehicle to make the installation as easy as possible. There is usually no drilling required, instead they bolt right up to existing holes in the frame for a sturdy hold and a high load capacity for safe stepping over and over again.
The carbon steel that makes up the 3" nerf bars is powder coated black for a nice glossy finish and to assist in corrosion resistance. Powder coating adds a thick layer of paint that is much more durable than when normally applied.
