Aluminum Fairlead

An Aluminum Fairlead is necessary for safe operation of your winch that uses synthetic rope, but there are other perks. A classic roller fairlead will stick out about 3.5" off the front of the winch. The aluminum fairlead has no moving parts to tangle up and barely protrudes off the front of your winch. Also the Aluminum Fairlead weighs much less than the bulky roller fairlead. The weight savings add up when taken into account the weight of a metal cable over a synthetic rope.
