I received my new Extang BlackMax today and just got finished installing it. WOW, looks excellent and very cool. I want to Thank you for all of your time and putting up with me to get the problem fixed. A very nice and professional person and I could not be more happier with the service and the new Blackmax cover. This is the third snap cover I have bought from extang and I will continue to purshase from here. Thank you again and thank you to everyone at truckxl.

I have had many trucks in my life. But My Chevy Silverado is the first truck to have a tonneau cover on it. I think it looks great and covers everything I need protected. The only problem I have with it is that 2 snaps have broken. The outer half is still on the cover while the snap part is on the lower part.. I need to find a way to fix the snaps. With that being said. I Enjoy this cover. It makes the Truck look Great................. Thanks for Having a Great Product.

The end product is great, just what I was looking for; getting there however was not a pleasant experience. First there was no mounting hardware in the box. After I received the mounting hardware and started to assembly the unit I noticed all the bows were marked "Center". Since 2 of the 3 components of the cover were incorrect I requested a complete new cover kit. I had no idea if the cover would even fit and I was running out of time for the trip I was taking, I almost threw the whole thing in the trash and when to a local shop for a cover. They would not send me a complete new kit just the new bows. It ended up taking about 2-1/2 weeks to get all the missing parts. Now it is installed and preforms as expected.

My husband and I have found the cover is good protection but somewhat difficult to snap and unsnap. To get the back snaps to snap is nearly impossible without a tool to pull from the front to get the top snaps to reach far enough to catch and snap onto the bottom snaps. Otherwise, great so far!

I don’t like the plastic snap fittings, they misshape with use , and they move too much , harder to align snaps
